Cookies, storage and campaign attribution
What the HomePool marketing website currently stores or reads on your device, the visitor counting it includes, and what must happen before further non-essential tracking is introduced.
Last updated 8 October 20261. Current marketing-site position
As of 8 October 2026, the HomePool marketing source does not intentionally include third-party advertising pixels or behavioural advertising trackers. The site and hosting platform may still use strictly necessary request metadata, security mechanisms, load-balancing/session technology or similar technical storage needed to deliver and protect the service.
2. Visitor counting: Vercel Web Analytics
Every page of this website includes Vercel Web Analytics: a script from Vercel, the company that hosts the website. Vercel describes it as “Privacy-friendly, real-time traffic insights”. The description Vercel ships with it says that it is for tracking page views and custom events, that every page view is tracked automatically, and that nothing is tracked in development mode. HomePool's code sends it no custom events of its own, and gives it nothing you type into a form or into Luna.
That description does not mention cookies or anything stored on your device, so this notice does not say whether Vercel Web Analytics uses them. Vercel's own documentation for it starts at vercel.com/docs/analytics/quickstart.
3. Campaign attribution
If a visitor arrives with UTM source, medium or campaign parameters in the URL and then submits a HomePool form or starts Luna, those values can be stored with the resulting HomePool lead/session record. HomePool does not need to set an advertising cookie merely to copy those URL values into the enquiry record.
4. Authenticated HomePool application
The signed-in HomePool application may use strictly necessary cookies or equivalent storage for authentication, security, session continuity and requested product functionality. Those technologies are separate from advertising/behavioural tracking.
5. Further analytics or advertising
HomePool will not silently add further non-essential analytics, advertising pixels or similar storage/access technologies. Before such technology is enabled, HomePool will update this notice, identify the provider/purpose/duration, and implement consent controls where required. In jurisdictions such as the UK/EEA, non-essential cookies or similar technologies generally require a valid consent choice before they are set.
6. Browser controls
You can use browser/device controls to clear or block cookies and storage. Blocking strictly necessary authentication/security technology may prevent parts of HomePool from working. When a HomePool cookie preference tool is introduced, it will provide a direct way to revisit non-essential choices.
